A couple of years ago I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Ashleigh & Alex. I knew Ashleigh from school so having the opportunity to be a part of her wedding day meant a lot to me and it is easily one of my favourite weddings I shot.

Fast forward two years, in which they were blessed with a second child and got a puppy, I asked them if they would be interested in doing an elopement style shoot with me to commemorate their two year anniversary. I asked them to privately write updated vows to read to each other. Ashleigh, Alex and Nancy (the puppy) hiked up to the top of Barton Hills with me in the windiest weather which was far more than I expected of them on the day. I am over the moon with the results and so grateful to them for their time and good spirits while we battled the elements.
